CDC, the National Institutes of Health, and the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) have prepared a revision of the 1995 U.S. Public Health Service/IDSA guidelines for prevention of opportunistic infections (OIs) in persons infected with human immunodeficiency virus.
