Outreach and Education Partners
The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has established outreach and education partnerships to support the needs of multiple World Trade Center (WTC) Health Program populations. Our partners provide information about the WTC Health Program and assist in the recruitment of eligible responders and survivors through culturally and linguistically appropriate educational materials during various outreach efforts.
Contract details can be found at USASpending.gov and searching by award number, organization name, and/or contract year.

New York Committee for Occupational Safety and Health (NYCOSH)
NYCOSH reaches responders through one-on-one engagement directed at union members. NYCOSH will focus on providing outreach and education to underrepresented Spanish-speaking survivors and responders, underrepresented general responders with a focus on union outreach, and non-traditional responders including construction workers, volunteers, communication workers, journalists, and clean-up workers. NYCOSH establishes one-on-one contact with these individuals through their organizations and works to ensure that they understand their potential benefits, how to apply to the Program, and are guided through the application process.

- Research Triangle Institute (RIT)
RTI, a nationally recognized research institute, focuses on providing outreach and education to underrepresented 9/11 survivors, including those who lived, worked, or went to school in Lower Manhattan and may have relocated, are non-English speakers, or do not self-identify as survivors. RTI uses a combination of digital strategies and community-based partnerships to reach these individuals where they are. RTI will raise awareness about the Program, share information about eligibility, and guide survivors through the enrollment process to ensure they can access the care they need.
